Over 600 Philippine eyecare professionals attended the Philippine College of Optometrists (PCO) annual general meeting held online on 28th November to learn about the resource available for myopia management from IMI.
Rebecca Weng, Project Director of the IMI, delivered the session from Sydney, introducing the IMI and the growing body of research provided by IMI’s eminent leaders and committee members in the field of myopia management.
Dr Cynthia Del Mundo, the Emeritus Chair of PCO and a general member of the IMI, introduced the IMI to their advisory board for the participation of online annual meeting. It is encouraging to see our IMI members play an active role in advocating for myopia control and pave the pathway for evidence-based approach in myopia management for better patient care in their region.
